I want a suit

The thing I really want badly is to wear a nice suit. Most people ask themselves now: Well, why don't you buy one? The answer is kind of complicated, of course I could buy one, but I wouldn't have any chance to wear it.
At work, I'm still an apprentice, and I would be considered overdressed by everyone.  Furthermore, not even the regular employees wear suits. Only the managers do.

Apart from work, there also aren't many possibilities. Which 22-year-old guy you know is running around in a suit in his free time? Not many I guess, it's just not common anymore. Not that I give much about what's currently in fashion or not, but there are limits on how noticeable I want to be to others.

Do you recognize the guy in the upper right corner? I bet most gamers will. It's Benny from Fallout New Vegas, drawn by Gobeur, and hell, he looks great in his suit.

    @Blu3hand: This! I love how people deal with me different when I'm wearing a suit, I feel important. Oh, and when I used to work in an important company long ago, I used to carry my ID too. That was awesome.

    you cant never go wrong with resevoir dogs style suit! you could buy a suit and wear it to weddings on dates with the lady. or even just to have dinner with friends or family

    if you wanna save money, check the thrift stores. I've gotten really nice suits there that people threw away just because hey were bored of them or whatever. you spend like 10-20 bucks to buy it, then take it to a tailor and get it fitted and then: bam! you are a pussy magnet for less than $50. I swear it works. get matching shoes, though and then go out to a bar.

    well I certainly run around in a suit, drinking and smoking,
    it a question of your appearance, you can look shitty in a suit, but awesome too,

    and please buy a decent suit, that REALLY fits!

    honestly, I would just buy/wear the suit.

    I used to wear suits at a job that was business casual. It let my boss know I was serious, and let my co-workers know I was gunning for the top spot.

    incidentally, I got that top spot.

    Suits are incredibly classy, if I could afford one, I'd definitely get one... you could always go to a bar in a suit, maybe pick up some chicks?

    The first $400 I spent as an 'adult' was on a designer suit. Had it tailored to fit perfectly, and I still have it.

    Nothing makes the ladies cream like a man in a sharp suit.

    just get something that doesn't look to high over the top ..botton down shirts a small tie could make for a nice fashion statement..wear a casual jacket and some fine trousers and shoes and your good to go..

    Love my suit. You can make a suit seem fairly casual, depending on how you wear it/what it's like. Interesting post though, I have to say. Think I'll follow for future goodness.

    It`s completely fine to wear a suit in public, people won`t look down on you for it. You choose what you want to wear, and what makes you feel good. People will associate you with high society.
